I am excited to get my certification and start working for an airline, and then continue my education to achieve a AS in Hospitality and Tourism Industry.  As you see in my resume I have been working in the restaurant industry since 2014, and I have gained knowledge and skills that I apply in my daily life. In addition, I gained experience in customers service while working as a cashier at a grocery store. Ultimately, I volunteer for activities such as beach day cleanups and out-planting at the KCC garden. I also added references from my current instructors and counselor. This value is the most important to me because I practice it everyday. At work, I always be kind and understanding with others. I always thought that every single person has a story and a reason to be the way they are, and that it does not matter  how others are around you, if you are kind to everyone you will have a positive attitude and make others happy.

Ha'aha'a:  Humility, to be expressed with modesty.
I relate to this value because I believe that every person deserve to be treated equally. I consider myself a  humble person, I believe that our worth is not what the material things we own , but the values that we carry with us every single day, and the way we express about ourselves and other people.

Ho'omau: Perseverance:
Perseverance is an essential value in my career because it is the key to my success. Date: November 2021.
Role: Volunteer.
Experience: Volunteer for a beach clean up in Kailua Hi. 
We removed plastic from the sea, trash left at the beach, and abandoned fishing gear.  I Learned about the ocean species and how to reduce plastic usage.

Event: Gardening work day at KCC.
Date: March 26th. 2022.
Role: Volunteer.
Experience: Out-planting invasive flowers and clearing up the KCC garden. I learned about new plants and how to take proper care of them.
