I would choose Lewis to go because he’s always been in good health, he knows what he’s doing, and knows what him and his group needs to do in order to gather as many notes and as much research as possible. Yes, it is true that Clark was the one that kept the group in an order, but in the end, that wasn’t the important part. Overall, Lewis’s notes and research was able to allow Jefferson to better understand that land and eventually take the land for the United States. In his situation, I choose smarts over brawn and control.

In order to stay alive, food was a very important resource. During the journey, we can assume that food was on the top of everyone’s mind. I’m positive that there were other people that could gather food for the group, but as a fisherman myself, I know that when done correctly, food can be very plentiful when you’re fishing with a rod.

Additionally, taking her along would be an action of peace towards her people and others that live in the west. Females are not typically taken to help on these kinds of things, so the Indian Natives would find us peaceful. Again mentioning food, she would know what would be good to eat and what wouldn't, and she would probably know where to find water too.

Beargrass is a tall, white flower that blooms beautifully in the late spring and fall. The tend to grow together in groups, and it isn’t even a type of grass at all! It has a type of cone on top of the flower that carries seeds, and spreads them around via wind.

The plant has little use today, but it was used by the Indian Tribes of the west for hats, drinking cups and cooking vessels.

The flower’s color varied from pink to purple, and grew plentifully, even though only two species were available on the mountain where the Corps was staying.

After further study, the elkhorn has no use, as it happens to be a very weak but beautiful flower.

The prairie dog has a complex system of communication including barks and growls, and have very large underground tunnels for their living conditions. They are also very social animals, and a group of prairie dogs were probably seen all at one time when they were discovered.

At the time, these animals were probably used for food purposes, as their population have declined over the past years. Additionally, this animal probably probably expanded the minds of the explorers, and opened up new areas of research for animalia. 

 Bears, like all animals play a part in a circle of life. If a bear was observed eating something, or even being eaten or dying for that matter, it would be a part in a circle of life. Bears don’t have much significance by themselves, but are a part of a never-ending chain of the wilderness. Further studies more than likely revealed this a time went on.

Bears, especially grizzly bears, are very large and can vary in color from red to black. Having large claws and large teeth, they can manage pretty much whatever prey they want to, and are a formidable foe for anything that wants to go up against it. The personalities vary as well, as some are known to climb trees, and some are known to attack and even kill humans.

Around the area, it tends to be very hot is home to some animal species. Like the name states, it has a mound shape and a decently high altitude. Spirit Mound is in the North American West, the place where Lewis and Clark went on their expedition.

In modern times, people can move and visit across the mound to step in the same place of Lewis and Clark. Besides animal movement however, not very much movement is present at this particular spot. Finally, people visit the spot for fun and history, and not much adaptation is needed except for the fact you might need sunscreen for the heat!

The weather around the area differs, and the river shows to be smaller around that area as well. The famous rock is in the North American West, the place where Lewis and Clark went on their expedition.

In modern times, people can visit the rock and the state park to see the spot that changed the expedition for the better. Additionally, besides the weather, not much change is required to visit and learn about his historical site.

On the expedition, Sacagawea proved herself critical to the team by showing her knowledge of the region. By noticing and recognizing Beaverhead Rock, she knew where to lead the Corps to safety.
