Taylor just said hey my new album is out, enjoy! 
To be honest I never was a fan of Taylor Swift and it wasn't on my plans to become one either. However, my friend Sandra, who has been a fan since she was born, was freaking out about it. She texted me 100 times asking me to listen to it and so I had no other option. I listened to it for her but ended up crying of a mix of sensations because I loved the album so deeply it has became one of my favorites ever.  It got me through the pandemic at the time and now it gets me through life in general. 

Give it a go, you won't regret it.

However, it was not until December that I listened to it. The thing is that my brother had been annoying me 24/7 to listen to it so I kind of lost my interest. 2 months later, during my Erasmus on Manchester, I wanted to bring something to him for Christmas so I went and bought the Vinyl version of the album. When I got home I started playing it out of curiosity... I loved every single song in it. Again, I had the feeling I was listening to the album of my life, as it happened with Folklore. I can't explain the feeling you get when this happens but it's amazing. It's actually the first band I've ever loved. My brother played them to me, as always. If it wasn't for my brother I'd probably be listening to reggaeton or something like that. So I'll always be grateful to him for not letting me walk on the wrong path. I'm posting this video because I deeply relate to what Billie Joe is saying about how he feels about music. I feel the same, 100%. I love all their albums and songs and that's really difficult to find, so that's one of the reasons. This is probably their most famous song together with Last Nite, Undercover of Darkness, Someday or You Only Live Once.
It's also my favorite, for some reason. It's one of those songs I can't jump, you know. I just have to listen to it. I have a tattoo on my wrist that says: Is This It? because of their first album. I usually find it hard to understand the meaning of their lyrics but still love them. Californication, however... It's jut iconic and it never dies. This song describes the superficial and hollow society of California and probably several more states of the United States. 
"Pay your surgeon very well to break the spell of aging...." that lyrics doesn't need any more comments. It makes me think of several celebrities that suffer Californication. Probably the longest title i've ever seen hahaha. I love Lana and this is my favorite song. I know it's not well known but still, it's amazing. The song is really slow and all you can hear is pretty much her voice and a piano. She used to be a small artist uploading her songs that she recorded with her brother Finneas to Soundcloud, I think, but not many people payed them too much attention. At least until 2018 when their song "Ocean Eyes" went viral all over the world, together with "When the party is over". I didn't like them at first, their music videos were a bit intense if not dark. However I loved their lyrics, specially those of the album were really relatable. They are about some pretty (dark) thoughts that we all have felt at some point in our lives but were too afraid to tell, so she is telling them for all of us. I know she's just put out a new album "Happier than Ever" but I kinda like this one better. Her brother Finneas used to be and i think still is the producer but he's got music of his own which i also listen to and love. Fun fact: Alex Turner has actually said several times that he loves The Strokes, in one of their last songs he says "I just wanted to be one of The Strokes..." or something like that. The first song I listened to was "Do i wanna know" of course, from their album AM which is my favorite album. However, I love 505 and  pretty much everybody that loves Arctic Monkeys loves that song too. There's just something about it and the story. 
According to the urban dictionary: "Pronounced Five-Oh-Five. The thing which is simultaneously keeping you alive and killing you, often used to describe a person you're in love with (but who may be bad for you)." There are no words to properly describe how much I like this album, apart from some very famous and catchy hits like "I knew you were trouble" or "22", it also contains some of the most heart-breaking lyrics ever in tracks like "All too well" or "The moment I knew". 

For me, Red is a true masterpiece that established Taylor as not just a best-selling artist but an extraodinary lyricist.
