Esta clase es mi favorito. Empieza a las siete y termina a las nueve y media. Mi segunda clase es la clase de ciencias. Empieza a las nueve y cuarenta y cinco y termina a las once. Mi tercera clase es la clase de matemáticas. Empieza a las once y termina a las doce y media. Después de matemáticas, yo tengo almuerzo. Mi cuarta clase es la clase de arte. Empieza a la una y media y termina a las dos y quince. Mi quinta clase es la clase de historia. Empieza a las dos y media y termina a las cuatro. En mi mochila, hay una computadora, un bolígrafo, unos cuadernos, una carpeta, y una calculadora. En la salón de clase, hay un reloj encima del puerta. Hay una pizarra al lado de la ventana. Vivo en Costa Rica. Mi casa es de ladrillo. En mi casa, hay una cocina, dos dormitorios, tres baños, y una sala. En la cocina, hay un teléfono, una mesa y cuatro sillas. En mi dormitorio, hay una cama, un armario, un espejo, y uno escritorio. Mi numero de teléfono es siete cero cuatro dos cero cero cinco tres ocho nueve.

Mi familia es pequeño. Tengo una mamá y uno papá. Mi mamá se llama Mandy. Ella es paciente y amable. Ella tiene cuarenta y cinco años. Su cumpleaños es el veinte uno de noviembre. Ella es una fotógrafa. Mi papá se llama Matt. Él es cómico y fuerte. Él tiene cuarenta y cuatro años. Su cumpleaños es el veinte nueve de mayo. Él es un abogado. En mi tiempo libre, me gusta leer y cantar. Yo no juego deportes. En los martes, yo tiene una clase de teatro musical. Mi comidas favoritos son helado y fruta. Cuando tengo hambre, yo comida fresas. ¡Cuando tengo sed, yo bebo agua! Por desayuno, como fruta y huevos. Por almuerzo, como un sándwich. Por cena, yo como carne y verduras. En el invierno, yo llevo chaquetas y gorras. En la primavera, yo llevo vestidos y camisas. En el otoño, yo llevo suéteres y vaqueros. En el verano, yo llevo trajes de baño y pantalones cortos. Mi camisa favorito es verde y azúl y cuesta quince mil colones. En mi cidudad, uso una bicicleta para el transporte. En mi ciudad, hay una biblioteca, un hospital, un banco, una oficina de correos, un café, y una tienda. Hay un bosque lluvioso cerca de mi casa. Mis partes favoritas del bosque lluvioso son los flores, las ranas, y los arboles.

PART THREE - REFLECTION

In Spanish, one thing I have noticed that is different than in English is that verbs have a lot of different endings when conjugating, whereas in English there are usually only two or three. For example, the English verb run has two conjugations; run and runs, and they are used in different situations. However, in Spanish, the verb correr has five conjugations; corro, corre, corres, corren, and corremos. I found the differences in the school schedules here versus in Costa Rica to be very interesting! As I continue to study the Spanish language, I hope to learn and understand grammar better than I do now. One thing I really liked about this course was how it had structure, but you could still work at your own pace to a certain extent. One thing I did not like about this course was that the way we learned vocabulary was very boring. I basically just had to write this word in English is this word in Spanish over and over again which grew old and boring. This year, learning the basics to grammar really helped me to understand and be able to communicate much better in Spanish. Something I can do in the future to improve my Spanish learning is make sure to take really good notes and study and make flashcards to help me master the information. My teacher was very helpful and always answered my questions when I had them.
