Many people do not understand the affects these GMOs have. The primary impact of GM HT (largely tolerant to the broad spectrum herbicide glyphosate) technology has been to provide less expensive and easier weed control for farmers. Nevertheless, some users of this technology have also derived higher yields from better weed control .
