Communication with others is always got to be a part of our daily lives, it is very well important to talk to people as it is the key to making connections through communication , but nowadays it has already started to change as time goes by, as a psychology doctor Shelly said, once in a ted talk that she shared that she has been studying a lot of people during her time in the past years, she had come to a conclusion that technology is now affecting our ways of making connection through other people. This is a very sensitive topic in where everyone can relate themselves especially to the younger generations. Instead of engaging out ourselves to the outside community to make a certain contact to other people we most likely prefer to be picking up our mobile devices, tablet, computer and make our internet as our outlet to reach other people, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Kakao, WeChat, Pinterest, and other social media platform to the intent to make up new connections. People even try to use such applications or sites to look for their soulmates without thinking about the risk of endangering themselves to cybersex, wherein we can prevent that from occuring by trying to reach outside of the technology and going out to a cafe and meeting people who might find you interesting. Going out and meeting different types of people and being able to talk to them face to face in an actual conversation is far more educating than typing and clicking in to your mobile devices. Yes technology gives us the capabilities to make tasks to announce something to a group of friends and other people with just a push of a button, but these kinds of action shows. how people are very irresponsible and lacking of social communication skill due to abusive use of technology, Our action shows. how we were raised in our community of living, by doing these actions we lessen the value of personally telling that person on a one on one conversation our small gestures towards others matter at all cost, it gives them sympathy in which technology or other gadgets do not offer. Listening to others even in the little bits of information helps a lot in understanding what they are actually felling at the very moment and how we should take action to understanding them better in way. The problem for the people in our generation is all about us being always in control in every aspect of our personal life we want to delete every trace of bad things that happen during the past times and let all the good things remain but the actual thing that really matter is the bad things teach us something really valuable and important that can be picked up as lessons things like this give us the vision of futuristic advancement and the more things we want to be in control with. We always wanted to be heard at all times but do we want to listen to the others? Dr. Shelly stated that listening even in the tiniest detail in a conversation would prove that you are giving a sympathy to the speaker connect with them and be educated by his or her experience.
