There are many things that connect the modern Levittown home and the modern Santa Clarita home together. In an interview with Levitt himself, he discusses the many things that uniquely characterized homes in Levittown. Houses of that time were created for maximum usage of space and minimum waste of materials. This structural plan can be seen in Santa Clarita homes as well which are often given a very simple but meaningful outer appearance in comparison to more "traditional homes". After war time conservation entered the lives of Americans in the 50s, things were seen as more "patriotic" and useful if they were more simplistic and conformed. This is what eventually led the mass conformed structure of modern homes not only in Santa Clarita but all over the United States with the rise of "suburban" lifestyles that hadn't been seen before.

Something that was often seen in the parks of Levittown was the prominent segregation of the area. In the 50s, African Americans still suffered major racial segregation. As parks and leisure activities became more common among different social classes, blacks were still separated from their white counterparts. When asked, William Levitt would blatantly explain his racist policies that discriminated against African Americans and restricted from enjoying the same activities as whites. In Santa Clarita, however, racial segregation was not taken into consideration when different places were being built. Santa Clarita's parks and such are open to all people regardless of age, class, and race. This just goes to show how much has changed even if the Levittown and Santa Clarita look similar.

When the Levittown was created, William Levitt wanted to create a stronger sense of "neighborly bonding" than the past general public had seen before. Just as Santa Clarita is divided into smaller communities, Levittown was divided into different smaller communities. Just as modern suburban areas will see, people who live closer to each other tend to be much more friendly to one another. This creation of a "neighborly" atmosphere helped to shape the Levittown to be what is was and what is has become in today's modern society. Before the Levittown, people would typically just mind their own business and focus only on their immediate families but the creation of the "friendly neighborhood Levittown" completely changed the demeanor that citizens would have to one another. Just like modern Santa Clarita, people bond with each other over common schools, sports leagues, and many other things that helped to create a sense of identity for those within the community.

Levittown was built with accessibility to many different places as one of its main goals. It was full of necessities like paved streets, sewer lines, parking lots, railroad tracks, swimming pools, and town halls. The city was almost perfectly planned to be a destination for inflow of city emigrants who wanted a city of structure, a place of living, and a location of recreational freedom, One of the main things that made these public accesses so popular were the public swimming pools which were far more popular than the other opportunities available. Just like Santa Clarita, there were many things to do in the Levittown with in the downtime of residency. Another thing that was popular were the railroads that made it easy for people to travel long or short distances without cars. Just like Levittown, Santa Clarita has multiple train stations that are easily accessible to all citizens.

As Levittown became more and more common in the United States, a wider sense of conformity spread throughout citizens who lived within them. Homes began to be created through mass production and people began to live their lives much more similar to one another. Levittown had numerous homes lining the streets and construction for even more homes to be built for future occupancy by the constant flow of people from metropolitan cities into it. Santa Clarita, on the other hand, has such new home communities built throughout the city in different areas of development. Santa Clarita, in that sense, is much like Levittown in the video, as new homes are springing up at astonishingly quick pace and are filled up very quickly soon after they are built. In addition, both Levittown and Santa Clarita have identical houses lining identical streets.

The Levittown were built specifically for living purposes. They were created for families who could reside in an area with other families and houses that were away from cities; the general public, e.t.c. There wasn't much space for factories or recreational facilities because these areas only had 1 specific purpose. In Santa Clarita however, there is a much more diverse arrangement of lifestyle activities. Santa Clarita has many different community centers and even a university which is seen in the picture. This wider array of activities makes Santa Clarita slightly different from Levittown in that aspect.
