I am giving a try to making this a measurable outcomes: Given learning communities comprised of instructors across RSHS, WWCC, UW, and educated in evidence-based practices, we will launch, support and sustain (for 3 years), cross-institutional mentoring teams comprised of three students (one from RSHS, one from WWCC and one from UW).

adopt at least one of Columbia’s Principles for Inclusive Pedagogy and implement it/these in their classrooms, departments, and/or institutions.
create an inclusive syllabus and/or faculty/staff guidelines (e.g. Tenure and Promotion requirements)
write/create an informed teaching/leadership philosophy in which inclusion is knit into the values, learning outcomes, pedagogies or andragogies and assessments.
adapt the Being Human in STEM (HSTEM) model to their institution or course.
articulate ways that they can make any institutional structure more inclusive (HSTEM model).
recognize and describe (their own) implicit and explicit biases and changes in those biases over time.
articulate their own feelings of isolation/inclusion and changes in those feelings over time.
utilize the seven elements of collaborative communication/reflective dialogue within learning community sessions
