1108 Hotel & Resort Sdn Bhd is a tourism and hospitality company based in Tapah, Perak, founded by Zamari Haji Muhyi in 2018. He is a Diploma in Tourism Management graduate with over 30 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry, as well as 20 years of expertise in event management and creative arts. He is involved in several sorts of company and is also a managing director and has major roles in Malaysian associations. He also has a great deal of training experience, which has helped him become a successful person who is well-liked by others. He said, “From the conceptualization of a hotel to its final completion, we are always inspired by the needs of the client and the desire to offer the highest quality of services.” “A successful enterprise relies on two things; determination and vision. 1108 Hotels and Resorts has been built on both and is always looking ahead to new goals.”

a) Before doing cleaning and maintenance, I need to make sure all the equipment to be used is always in good condition. 

b) Apart from that, personal safety when doing work and managing tools must also is emphasized so that no unwanted incidents occur.

c) Learn about the four steps of linen control:

i) Checking linen for aesthetic and hygiene standards on a regular basis.

ii) Daily linen stock flow quantity control/linen exchange procedure

iii) Linen stocktaking or physical inventory.

iv) Accurate line recording using the master linen inventory management sheet.

After finishing the housekeeping, my responsibility is to sanitize all parts of the place in the room that are the point of contact from visitors. this is not only intended to curb it is also as a measure to maintain the well -being of the carebin staff themselves and prevent them from contracting dangerous viral infections.

a)  I learned to clean a room and at the same time to prevent a virus.
b) Also, I had difficulty inserting the excess duvet cover under the mattress to look neat, because the heavy mattress made it difficult for me to fold the excess duvet cover to look neat. But with the guidance and help of senior staff I was able to overcome the problem successfully. It also allows me to know that every single thing has its own way of doing it. If the method used is correct all the work will be easy.

I was taught how to use HPC properly. This HPC is intended to remove the green moss that sticks to this floor and will make the floor of the walkway look dirty and unclean. By doing this cleaning it will look cleaner and be able to give a more beautiful and tidy impact to the customers.

Things to consider before using HPC include:Use your HPC for any available requests as you will be able to control the water pressure that way.The use of HPC requires high water pressure capacity requirements. Besides, your place should also have a high amount of electrical power if moderate, HPC will not be able to be fully utilized.

a) I can learn about accuracy in handling work.

b) I also get a sense of responsibility if any unwanted things happen during a shift change.

c) Helped me to be more sensitive and vigilant in taking over the trust that had been given.

  
a) The thing I can learn is that plants and green leaves can beautify the landscape of an area as well as add a sense of tranquility to hotel & resort visitors.

b) I also learned that caring for living plants is different from caring for fake plants other than to ensure that the plants are always fresh and grow healthily. The amount of water and the time of watering the plants play a very important role.

In addition, the work of blowing the leaves using a machine is easier and faster than using a broom to sweep the leaves. Such work requires a lot of energy because the blower used is quite heavy.

a). I had a hard time learning housekeeping because I didn't have enough time.

b). Having difficulty because most tasks are physical, which must be able to bend and kneel to do housekeeping.

Today after the work of sweeping and mopping the floor was done, I also replaced the broken light bulb. this is because I want to make sure the situation is always bright and does not disturb the guests staying at One One 08 Hotel tapah

usually I would start sweeping work once the cafe below had closed. This is because I also, when starting the shift, will go down to the cafe downstairs to help other friends for closing. When everything is done then I will go upstairs and carry out cleaning work at the hotel.
