It makes decimals equalized to money. On some pages, it asks students to work out some problems. It has pages that delve deep into each section. It aslo explains how to shift from a fractions to decimal to percent, and back. At the end of the world it gives more feel life examples and a worksheet that the students can do to practice. </div><div><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Decimals, percents, and fractions are all connected.<br><br></li><li>The place value system is central to understanding decimals, fractions, and percents.<br><br></li><li>Decimals are a way of writing fractions within the base ten system (denominators of 10,100,etc).<br><br></li><li>Addition and subtraction with decimals is based on the fundamental concept of adding and subtracting numbers in like position values - an extension from whole numbers.<br><br></li><li>Multiplication and division of two numbers will produce the same digits, regardless of the position of the decimal point. As a result, multiplicative computations with decimal fractions can be performed as whole numbers with the decimal placed by the way of estimation, as well as by identifying patterns.<br><br></li><li><br>Percents are simply hundredths and as such are simply a third way of writing both fractions and decimals.&nbsp;<br><br></li></ul><div><br></div>]]></description>
