Once upon a time there was a boy named Ben who lived in a small village. He was a prankster and loved to tell jokes and prank his fellow neighbors. His favorite prank of all was to cry "WOLF!" His neighbors would scream and hide in their homes and Ben would laugh and laugh. Ben did this constantly, scaring his neighbors and causing a scene in his village. Until one day Ben was out collecting wood for his family's fireplace when he noticed two bright yellow eyes glowing between the trees, it was a wolf! Ben ran into the village and once again cried "WOLF!" Only this time no one batted an eye, no one believed him for he had cried wolf so many times before. Ben screamed and tried to tell people a wolf was coming into the village, but the villagers did not listen. The wolf entered the village and began running towards the chickens. The people all yelled and ran away into their homes. The wolf became scared of all the chaos going on in the village and ran back into the woods. Ben was so scared and now he really knew what it was like to see a wolf up close. He never cried wolf again.
