Emotional :

Children that are less verbal can find a way to express themselves through play. This may be beneficial because it allows, at the same time, the understanding of their needs in order to help them.

Cognitive:

Infants tend to interact with the world through play, so playing is the method they use to explore and discover how things function in their surroundings. Even in schools or other academic environments games have an important role because they help kids adapt.

Social:

Through play, kids may also form appropiate relationships with their parents, which is really important due to the fact that family is considered a mediator that guarantees children development. In addition, playtime allows the opportunity to fathers and mothers of viewing the world as children see it in order to understand and guide them.

Physical:

Play improves the physical health because, through activities, it puts the body in an active state. In addition, the physical activity that is performed while playing may also be beneficial because it helps prevent childhood obesity.
