She also worked at her job in Kaiser hospital to save to buy a home that she owned in the San Jose. Before that we lived in multiple places, one of the places was a house my parents bought, but lost due to the 2008 financial crisis. My family also lived in multiple apartments/ condos, rented houses, and with my grandma in a very small room. In the end my mom bought her own home by August of 2014. My aunt and cousin were the other two people who came. I've always wanted to go to New York, so it was very exciting. I loved the trip so much that I want to go back again. Our hotel was in Times Square, and so I got a pretty nice view. During this trip we went to places like the Empire State building, 9/11 memorial + art, and the MOMO museum. We also rode bikes in central park and took a tour in a big red bus. The speaker lady was so funny. I felt crazy half the time, and unemotional/sad the rest of the time so the second semester I failed literally all my classes. I for some reason did not want to do anything, and was stuck in my head all the time. She felt that she outgrew the job though, and felt she was getting too comfortable because she liked the people so much. She had finally decided she wanted something new and more challenging. I was literally the happiest ever and danced the whole time. The highlights of the concert were listening to songs like needy or goodnight and go live. I’m still really grateful I got to go.
