Green 3: Is Predestination Real? by Mark Tolcher

Using Aquinas' Summa, post your answer using either Aquinas or something else that is credible. Is there an attribute of God that fits? Does ignorance or free will play a role?

By: Evan Hoekstra, Colin Shanks, and Clayton.

We believe that Predestination is real because God is omnipresent, which means he can see all at at all times, so he will know the decisions we make before we make them. This means we still have free will, but God knows the outcome of our choices, so His decision of whether We go to Heaven or Hell still allows us to have free will.

We believe that it is and is not. It is not entirely real in the sense that He doesn't create people just to send them to hell. People have free will, but God is omniscient. He knows everything and what will happen to everyone, but He does not necessarily choose that path for them. It is up to the individual to decide through their free will gifted to them from God.
