Donnie Darko is an amazing movie, perhaps my favorite ever, that really exemplifies teenage mental health. Jake Gyllenhaal plays a character suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, something I definitely don’t deal with, yet I still find ideas that resonate with me and my feelings throughout this film. I highly recommend it!

There was a time in my life, however, where pro wrestling was my favorite thing ever. I wanted to grow up to be a WWE superstar, bouncing off the ropes and flying high through the air, just like my idol Eddie Guerrero. Eddie may have died a few months after I was born, but that didn’t stop me from looking up to him as a kid. My brother always collected the old wrestling pay-per-views on DVD, so when he’d go out for a night with his friends I’d sneak into his room and watch Eddie Guerrero work his magic. He will always be one of the greatest at what he did and regardless of whether I watch wrestling anymore or not, his work ethic and character is something I will always admire.
