We have never heard this metaphor before, but notice how unconventional this metaphor is. We wonder why Christopher likes prime numbers so much and who taught him about him.

We wonder if this means that Christopher might have experienced abuse in the past, or he could be autistic. He doesn't seem to grasp that touching is a part of a policeman's job.

" (4). We wonder if this signifies that he has a closer connection to animals than he does humans. We think he cannot tell how a human is feeling, but he can tell how an animal is feeling. He chose to write about a dog for his murder mystery instead of a human (and he knows a few people who have been murdered).
