The theme of the book is to never give up even if nothing is going your way. Yael was stripped of her identity and was used in experiments. She also lost her family, but she didnt let that stop her from completing the mission.

I thought the book was alright. I thought the book started off at a slow pace but towards the middle and to the end it was fast paced. It was unrealistic which I didnt like, but it was still interesting. the character never changed throuoghout the book and was very confident and strong. Yael went through a lot of things that prove that. She disguised and impersonated as Adele perfectly that everybody fell for it. the book was not believable. Hitler won th war and Yael could shape shift into other human forms which I didnt like. I liked the ending. Yael won the race and never lost focus of the goal even with all the distractions she faced. She stayed calm at the end and was able to complete her job, which was to kill Hitler.

Yael was a very strong, condfident, and focused person. In the book it says " Her mission had faltered yes, but it had not failed. she'd done everything that had been asked of her: Rode across continents, attended the victors ball, pulled out her gun, shot straight. A man hads died to make the world better, and though it was the wrong sacrifice, there was no taking back the blood." One more example from the book was " Yael squinted back. There was a sharpness in her eyes, too, whetted by three days of fear and to-bright lights. Her knees ached and wobbled, but she tried her best to stand straight . She did not want to be too small, too weak, too short."
