I think it would be age appropriate for Preschool to take a virtual field trip to a Zoo. Since we are fortunate to live near the Omaha Zoo, we could take a field trip there and do virtual field trips to different zoo’s around the country. All of these zoo’s would have a different purpose. So one week we could learn all about Panda’s. Then take a virtual field trip to San Diego. The next week we could learn all about Penguins and then go on a virtual field trip to the aquarium at Monterey Bay Aquarium. Etc. Lastly, we can do a real field trip to the Omaha Zoo. The necessary technology I think could be google hangout. Or even FaceTime. We are very fortunate to have good technology and could hook it up to the projector.
