It was quite a close call but the bottom colour palette won. After analysing the data, it was clear to me that the majority of people who voted for the top one was all people who are teens and don't attend uni or teens who do academic subjects such as law. Maybe this is due to their preferences? maybe they are basing it off of what is already currently existing as brands who accommodate to university students? or the stereotype and theory that these colours are more suitable for education purposes. Either way, it became apparent to me that the people who voted for the top are also my target audience. I needed to find a way to accommodate to their likes too, as the brief was to make the brand as accessible as possible for all uni students. I loved the combination of colours on the pages and print work. I knew straight away this was a brand aimed at the same target audience I was going for. I feel the images helped majorly with this. This really inspired me as it gave me the confidence and reassured me that my colour palette would work. I loved the colour palette used and wanted to take inspiration from the layout they used. It was bold, bright but all work in harmony together.
