15000 blacks in the south moved, most to Kansas since it was home to John Brown as he was the symbol of black freedom. Bill Pickett was born in texas in the 1870s and was famous for roping and handling a heard of dogs. There were a place called buffalo soldiers, African American troops would go there and natives would fight for them.

in the 1850 after the civil war there was only one black student that was available to join.

There were many memoirs made after the war, Paul Laurence Dunbar was the first to be recognized to be a poet

The african americans all decided to work for equality .some may have not like the idea of it because they would get racial separation.

Jim crow was the biggest song but they then became part of racial slurs .that had a great impact in United states .The african americans

forces to be separated due to the racism .when the reconstruction ended the states in the south there where 3 cases of the separation

case.the wanted to reconstruct to the whites that legislated .they would make state charges to fee the vote.

they called out for many black activist.they wanted to give out the way that they are self reliance .

The man W.E.B Du Bois he was an african American teacher that helped nd was one of the leaders.
