I can't say enough wonderful things about you. I am blessed to have seen you, young learners, grow in my classroom. I really enjoyed day in and day out filled with your jokes, laughter, hard work, and inquisitiveness. I can honestly say I looked forward to coming into my classroom and working with you. 

Further, your ability to adapt to the online learning platform has left me in amazement. I really enjoyed getting to know each of you better in your journal and padlet writing. I know we didn't give the Civil War and Reconstruction it's true justice, but I hope you have left with some understanding of how that time period impacts the future of American History. 

I also want to remind you of your achievement in receiving 6th place in the district during our Benchmark in March. You had the best scores in the Southside, and you all had not even covered Civil War yet!

We do not know what the future holds in many regards, but I know you all have the willpower, work ethic, heart, optimism, and smarts to make it. I am very proud of how far you all have come, and I cannot imagine all the great and wonderful things ahead of you.

Please know that myself, and all your middle school teachers, cannot wait to see what kind of magic you create in high school and the future!
