1. Roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au. 2021. Drug driving trauma trends. [online] Available at: <https://roadsafety.transport.nsw.gov.au/downloads/trauma-trends-drug-driving.pdf> [Accessed 26 March 2021].

This source is not scholarly, however, shows the data of drug driving trauma and how this effects the people on the road. this was helpful because it allowed for credible statistics to use towards gathering a target audience
2.
Reay, D., 2013. Drug Driving: The role of market research in understanding the problem and finding a solution. Australia Pearson Australia.
This source allowed a form of advertising stratergy to be obtained, this helped to understand the type of advertisment that will be created

3.
Jones, W., Mørland, J. and Lui, R., 2020. Alcohol, drugs, and impaired driving : forensic science and law enforcement issues / edited by A. Wayne Jones, Jørg G. Mørland, Ray H. Liu.. Boca Raton, FL : CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group.

This source showed different use of forensic technology to detect an inhebriated driver, many roadside tests can be use, however to detect some substances, a station test is used.
4.
Horyniak, D., Dietze, P., Lenton, S., Alati, R., Bruno, R., Matthews, A., Breen, C. and Burns, L., 2017. Trends in reports of driving following illicit drug consumption among regular drug users in Australia, 2007–2013: Has random roadside drug testing had a deterrent effect?. OXFORD: Elsevier Ltd.
This source allowed a similar approach to the first, giving an insight to the use of elicit substances and how they affect the driving by an inhebriated individual
5.
O'Malley, P. and Johnston, L., 2013. Driving after drug or alcohol use by US high school seniors, 2001-2011. WASHINGTON: AMER PUBLIC HEALTH ASSOC INC.
Again this shows how individuals drive and behave on the road after using elicit substances, this is useful to create my ad by having a better understanding of the behaviour of people and how I can cater to the target audience.
6.
Evans‐Brown, M. and Sedefov, R., 2017. New psychoactive substances: driving greater complexity into the drug problem. Abingdon, England: HOBOKEN: WILEY.
This source has established that psychoactives are incredibly detrimental to the drug problem that is faced today, this is not the most useful source but it provides evidence behind other sources showing their credibility.

Advertisement plan

The plan for the advertisement is to have an actor that clearly shows withdrawl symptoms, smoke apears from a first person perspective and it is set inside a car. With the use of visual effects and sound effects, the driver is slowly having their vision distorted, the colours changing, eyes slowly opening and closing, then a loud crash. the driver awakes to seirens and the message "drug driving? wake up" appears on the screen as it fades to black. the tone of this ad is meant to be serious, this appeals to the target audience as the ads explored show a more childlike innocence, whereas the biggest offenders of drug driving are males in their mid to late 30's are the biggest offenders and hence, a serious tone will better convey the message shown.
