We prefer an emergent approach because an emergent strategy is a pattern of action that develops over time in an organization in the absence of a specific mission and goals, or despite a mission and goals. Emergent strategy is sometimes called realized strategy. An emergent strategy or realized strategy differs from an intended strategy. An emergent strategy is a good strategy approach that entrepreneur can practices as it helps the entrepreneur to react over the situation that always make them try to seek the opportunities and take it. Entrepreneur are most likely respond over time which up to date with the current situations of the market. However, an emergent strategy has a negative impact also where the entrepreneur may not react to the original vision and mission because of focus on current situations only and it is high risk as they take the opportunities that not clearly studies while seeking for profit. We can say that emergent approach is trying to changing the reality.

As a future manager or entrepreneur, we prefer to take emergent approach in our strategy creation. Emergent approach make entrepreneurs concentrates on managing the venture’s short-term capabilities and exploiting the opportunities that present themselves as the business move forward. For example, Sam Walton, the founder of Walmart, built his stores close to his first store in rural settings rather in big population cities, because it was easier from him to manage. He stubbled on a winning strategy - because there was less competition - and people in the countryside would come miles to get discounted items.

As a future Manager or Entrepreneur, we prefer Emergent approach as our business strategy creation. This is because emergent strategy sometimes produced unexpected results. Emergent strategy can be designed to address problems, but it also be used to capitalize on unexpected marketing benefits. There have an advantage of this emergent strategy which is, it could be something that our company has discovered before our competitors does. Emergent strategy is more advancement of the technology being offered in the marketplace. This is because, companies refine and develop the products, they look for new features to offer that allow the products to stand out from the competitors. 

 

Many of the world discoveries have happened accidently and would not have taken place if it was dictated by formal planning of approach. Maybe will miss the business oportunities. On the other hand, deliberate approach are planned and put into action, however due to the unrealised and unpredictable changes in the business environment; most of the planned strategies are not implemented. Maybe it will waste time.

As a future manager, we prefer to undertake deliberate approach for our business strategy creation. Entrepreneur sets out to define a strategic policy or future goal in which instruction as to objectives and budgets are passed down the organization. By using deliberate approach, the company will not run out from the objectives. Even any obstacles happen, the manager can solve out the problem without contradict with the future goal and objective. This make sure the company can achieve the future goals and success in the future.

This is more to formal planning that including a deliberate innovation strategy forces that help you to think about unlocking hidden value and tapping profit opportunities in a systematic manner. It helps you unlock value on a going basis. As companies wade through streams of emergent innovation strategies, they sometimes miss major opportunities to unlock value. At other times, they are so busy trying to focus on the innovation success that they pay less attention on how to make money from their innovations.

Emergent strategy is the process of identifying unforeseen outcomes from the execution of strategy and then learning to incorporate those unexpected management that suitable for future manager that one to discover business environment. Besides that, this approach will grab the opportunities immediately in business field to start or expand their business compare with the deliberate strategy. This approach has more flexibility to change the plan strategy if something happen. 

 

The reason we chose emergent strategy than deliberate is because we think that deliberate approach has its disadvantages. The approach has being focus on a specific outcome may increase an organization rigidity and lower its speed of responsiveness in the event of changes in their operating environment or negative feedback receives from the pursuit of a particular strategy.

Their decisions reflect shifts in consumer tastes, order sizes and practices of competitor businesses.  why not because emergent strategy does not offer a genuine alternative to more traditional deliberate strategy, especially for new businesses operating on narrow margins. At best, it serves to complement and serve as a corrective measure for deliberative strategy.
