Motivation as primary drivers

I believe motivation influences human behavior more than emotions. When you look at Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs, physiological needs are a strong drive for humans to be able to do anything else on the top of the pyramid. These drives at the bottom of the pyramid can be strong and controlling how people function as they prioritize what they need over what they want in certain situations.

-Carmen Bright

Melanie Aguilar

Emotions can be more influential it leads us to act quickly or impulsively based on how you feel in that moment. Just like in the crash course video it talks about maslows hierarchy of needs all the levels fulfill our needs and emotions. He even said it that our motivation is led by emotion in the beginning.
