I was categorized as INFP, mildly introverted (16%), moderately intuitive (25%), distinctly feeling (59%), & moderately perceiving (41%). Lisa Kudrow is a famous person with this same personality type. I also found that my favorite author, Edgar Allan Poe, along with the author of my favorite quote, Albert Camus share this same personality type.

As a mildly introverted person, I was described as having many acquaintances, but a very small inner circle of people I consider friends. In general, this smaller group is the people whom INFP's talk to on a regular basis. I found this very accurate for myself. I always consider myself an extroverts introvert to where I don't mind being around people, but would much rather be to myself. I feel much more relaxed and comfortable when I am by myself or in a small group.

I am considered more intuitive than sensing. This means that rather than processing events using my physiological senses, I use more memories and thoughts about future implications. This was surprising to me because I rarely think about future implications of events, but I do use past experiences to interpret current ones. So in a sense, everything in the world is related.

I was described as distinctly feeling, which I feel is a very accurate conclusion about my personality type. This relates me as being very empathetic, which I hold myself to a high standard of being. I pride myself on being able to relate to and understand most anyone's situation. I am a person who believes that the most important thing you can be in life is happy, so I place extreme emphasis on emotions.

Perceiving

As opposed to being judgmental, my personality type is described as perceiving. What this means is that I don't typically have a plan to do things. I may have an end goal, but am perfectly happy with accomplishing that goal however it comes. If something doesn't go according to plan, I am fine with altering that plan and adapting from there. One analogy is that given the choice on a trip, I would rather take a toolbox than a map. I agree with this completely. I see myself as seeing a plan as useful, but never making one of my own. I also see myself as being able to adapt in most situations.
