My first insurance plan I would choose is Life Insurance. "“Life insurance is insurance that pays out a sum of money either on the death of the insured person or after a set period" (textbook page 14). I can use this insurance in case I were to suddenly die. This way my family would be able to get money for my death. Next, I would get Auto Insurance. "Auto insurance is separate into different categories" (textbook page 16). Auto Insurance covers bodily injuries, property damage, comprehensiveness, collisions, medical payments, and extras (towing and road service). This insurance would help me incase I were to be injured or if someone else were to get hurt or have car troubles. Finally, I would get Homeowners insurance. “Homeowners and renters insurance protect the belongings inside your place of residence" (textbook page 16). This would protect my home if any damage were to happen to it such as a fire or tornado damage.

“it’s important to become knowledgable about the various types of insurance so that you can make an informed decision about what you should purchase" (textbook page 14). Insurance is carried around because there is always a risk of something bad happening. People should have insurance to protect themselves against the possible bad outcomes that can occur. It's important to carry different types of insurance because each type (Life, Health, General, Disability) all apply to protect different types of situations.
