         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used to think that CRP was having more opportunities for students to explore different perspectives throughout the year.<br><br>Now I think that it is more than that. CRP is not only having those opportunities, but giving students choice in how they use their voice in order to activate their own perspective when making connections to the curriculum.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I used to think that pointing out different perspectives to the students was "good enough" to help them understand.<br>Now I have a deeper understanding of how important it is to give them opportunities to try and feel how those different perspectives impacted the lives and decisions of people that came before us. I will challenge them to ask themselves how, with that better understanding, can they make a difference.</div>]]></description>

Now I think that giving all students the opportunity to see themselves and be celebrated even if it is a small way can be a jumping off point for deeper conversations, engaging and connecting students to the classroom community and each other. </div>]]></description>
