Facts:

I was raised by my 2 mothers, my biological mother, and my mother's aunt (basically my grandmother).
I'm an only child, at the same time, the first niece and granddaughter of the family. Upon growing up, I was treated as a princess of the family, but due to a big turning point in my life, I became independent.
I am the closest to my second cousins; I'm one of the boys (9 boys) with them. I was able to babysit most of them, making them so close to my heart

I draw and paint. My mediums are colored pencil, colored pens /markers, watercolor, watercolor pencils, and pastels. During my Elementary and Junior High School, I actively joined poster-making contests at my school and even competed in regional contests.
I write poems in both English and Tagalog.
I do editing, but not that skilled.
I also do event decoration for family and family friends. This also helps me earn my own money.
I was able to join some pageants during elementary school.

My Kind of Art - Beads Crafts (Back Story)

My beads journey started during my 3rd grade (season 1). It started due to a financial crisis as my family faced a large sum of debt due to an unfortunate tragedy. When my mom and I went to a mall, we saw beads, and she had an idea to create bracelets and let me sell them at school. My mom makes the bracelets, and I sell them to my classmates for snacks and lunch money. The small business supported my meal for almost a month, as after the Christmas break, I stopped going to school to cut off school expenses.

In December 2023, out of boredom at the same time thinking of not relying too much upon my parents financially, I invested 1,000 pesos to explore the world of beads. By watching videos and getting ideas from social media, I choose to make bracelets, phone chains, and key chains. With that, during the summer of 2024, I opened my pop-up business with the help of my mom and Lola's effort, and I was able to sell in front of their workplace near my JHS alma mater. A fun fact: during my first day of selling, I earned 700+ pesos, and during the peak of my selling, I earned 1,300+ in a day. As of now, my total profit gained is around 10,000+ pesos. The money I earned was used for my needs specially in school.

What is Art for Je?

Art for me is my escape from reality. Whenever I create art, I discover myself in a new world, immersing myself in relaxation and peace. Art also became my therapy, every time I feel down or full of heavy emotions, I always find myself in my area at our house doing any kind of art. For practicality, sometimes I use art to earn money, as living in a financially unstable household, it was the way to help my family to provide our needs.
