I've been trying to get it up, but as stated on the site itself, I can't always keep the site up to date. This I believe was on of the more emotion filled episodes, between the whole first argument in the beginning and the moment of connection between Blue Diamond and Greg. Although in that moment of connection, I do believe that it is very ironic that Blue is grieving for her 'sister' and Greg is grieving for the one who shattered Pink in the first place. The whole Garnet, being one of the toughest members of the Crystal Gems, being all scared of Blue Diamond being on Earth, was really another point of emotion, being that both Ruby and Sapphire were once a loyal part of her court until they discovered for themselves the beauty of cross gem fusion. This episode brings back points from episodes that were at some perspectives called 'fillers.' Buddy's Book was labeled that a lot, even I thought it was a relatively boring episode, and then, POW! It's back, in a much, much more relevant form. And not as much complaining an this one, but Gem Harvest was criticized for misleading titles and such, but then, here comes Uncle Andy, back in the old airplane. Loved this episode!]]> 2017-01-31 00:53:28 UTC https://padlet.com/peridoti7152/steven_universe_world_episode_reviews/wish/150418631 peridoti7152 https://padlet.com/peridoti7152/steven_universe_world_episode_reviews/wish/150420359 Being aired immediately after Steven's Dream in Steven Bomb 5, This episode, is probably the funniest of all of them (Don't worry, no spoilers are coming, but I've watched them all and am just saying, that the others are pretty serious for the most part). I love this episode right off the bat. The whole bit of Pearl telling Amethyst turn in to a chair! That was pretty funny, but it only gets better on the ride to the zoo. For the few seconds that the Rubies were hit by their own ship was funny. I need to question though, where are the other two? We clearly see Doc, Army, and Navy, but seriously, where are Leggy and Eyeball? And then there's the trying to fix the shape/size of the gems, making them all sizes and stretched out, and in the end gets Steven into a lot of trouble with the gems lagging behind the ship, the ship moving full speed ahead right to the zoo. But even when it seems most like he's going to die, every time he comes close to dying, he doesn't, and if so, barely gets hurt at all. Come on guys, we all new he was going to slow it down, and if not, at least not get hurt if he didn't. But then Amethysts reaction to being stuck outside was hilarious! She flew through planets, she's amazing. They took it very nicely, which we'd assume they'd do.
