Almost 10 years after he disappeared like being swallowed by the earth, there was a notification that mixed my feelings. I'm glad I finally know that he's okay, but mixed up with anger and also a big question mark why he's telling me only now. In his letter he wrote that he would be home the day after Christmas.

A party is supposed to be fun, isn't it? This feeling impolitely messed up the Christmas party my friends had planned. Hoping he will come, according to what he promised me in the letter.

The sound of the doorbell made us all pay attention. That's what I've been waiting for. His arrival was greeted with enthusiasm and surprise. People who disappeared without warning suddenly came in very dignified and as always handsome. I felt that he would not notice me with my cornered position. But my guess was wrong, he immediately came to see me. He approached me happily. The smile I miss so much. He immediately hugged me very tightly while saying "I miss you".

Everyone in the North Pole was already asleep at 12 AM, but not for this gingerbread named Jayden. He was getting work done, but suddenly there’s a loud bang and it sounded like it’s from his backyard. He decided to check and went to his backyard. In his backyard, there was a time machine. Suddenly, the door of the time machine opened and revealed a gingerbread man. Jayden asked the gingerbread man, “Who are you and why are you in my backyard with a time machine?”. Then, the gingerbread man replied, “Hi, I’m Jacob and I’m from the year 2036. Well, I'm supposed to travel back to the year 2005 but the machine broke and it stopped in the year 2022.” Jayden was surprised by Jacob’s presence so he asked a lot of questions. But, the air was getting cold in the North Pole, so they went inside and continued their conversation. 

During his childhood, Little Pebble lived in the north pole caves far away from city with his fellow snowmans. Every Christmas, they do the exact same routine. They stayed in the caves because there was nothing but snow around, just snow. As years went by, Little Pebble got bored of this same boring Christmas and he decided to run away from home with his best friend, Ginger. Ginger and Pebbles escaped to a christmas festival in the city. It really felt like a winter wonderland. They were surprised by everything that was happening, the crowd, santas, ferris wheel, and even cotton candy machines. They spend the whole day adventuring the festival and trying out new things. It was truly the most memorable Christmas Mr. Pebbles had experienced.

 And so early in the morning, the eld started to do the work he was assigned with. He started playing with the reindeers first thing in the morning and felt tired afterwards, so he fell asleep. Little does he know, the lock for the reindeer’s cage isn’t locked up yet and the reindeers were mischievous so they ran out. When he woke up from his nap, he saw the reindeers gone. The elf panicked and started to look for all 12 reindeers. He went around Santa's village asking the villagers if they saw the reindeers. One of the villagers said that they saw a couple of reindeers run to the river.

 After looking around the whole village he finally found them and put them back into their cages. And so, the elf finished his adventure and continued looking after the reindeer. Although it was tiring, the elf had fun looking for the reindeers. 

Long ago my grandparents were made at a cozy home by an old woman and man. But then my grandparents gained consciousness and knew that the old woman and man wanted to eat them, so they ran away. They ran and ran until they felt safe and built a small shelter. Unfortunately, they both got eaten by a fox in the end leaving my dad alone. My mom and dad met when my dad was greeted by my mom in front of the shelter, catching her breath because she was also running away.

I gasped as my mom finished telling my story. It always amazes me how brave my grandparents were. But, the story also gave me a slap of reality about how me and my family now live in constant fear everyday to not get eaten.

He didn’t mind being unique, but he sometimes felt lost. It’s as if he is missing something, but he doesn’t know what it is. The said thought has clouded him a lot since the start of the day. As the day continued, a Christmas spirit happened to pass by and noticed the lone snowman. It seemed to feel some bits of gloominess coming from the bluish snowman.  “Why are you so gloomy on a bright Christmas morning, dear?” The spirit questioned the said snowman. He replied, “I felt as if I am missing something but I don’t know what.”

The spirit looked around in thought and realized something, which was that the snowman was alone. “Are you lonely?” The spirit questioned. Which he replied, “Perhaps. In fact, us having a conversation is something rare for me.” The spirit looked at him sadly and understanding, it knew loneliness well too. Since the said spirit rarely converse with anyone too. The spirit decided to give him a gift since it's Christmas morning, a magical and wonderful time of the year. He also seems as if he needs it.

It made another fellow snowman beside him. He looked at his fellow snowman astonished. His new fellow is a bit different from him, his body was made of pure white snow while the decorations were similar to him. “This snowman will accompany you till the end of day. So, I hope you will enjoy it as much as possible.” The spirit told him and he smiled happily. 

He was then left alone with his new fellow. That was the start of an amazing conversation and time for Sky. His fellow snowman disappeared while the stars were shining brightly on the dark sky, which left Sky with a happy and cherished memory he will never forget.

On Christmas morning there's a reindeer. Her name is Rein. Rein loves winter, so she wants to visit a place called winter wonderland. But on her way to winter wonderland, she saw a baby reindeer crying. It looks like the baby reindeer had lost and is looking for his mom. Rein then asked "hi, are you lost?" The baby reindeer just stares and cries. But after 5 minutes he finally said "I don't know where my mom is" . Rein then asks the baby reindeer to follow her and help him find his mom. Not long after, Rein and the baby reindeer found his mom. They live happily ever after, The end.

     On a cold morning, the life of an elf. He lives in the forest at the north pole. Every day, he collects wood to stock up at night because at the north pole it gets colder every night before Christmas. The closer to Christmas, the more difficult it is to gather wood because it's way too cold. Since it was too cold, the elf stopped gathering wood and took a break until winter ended. During the holidays, the elf spends time in the igloos warming up and drinking a cup of coffee.

     But during the winter break this time is different. When he is sipping coffee in the afternoon, He see a dazzling light from the northern forest. The elf is curious, so he goes to the origin of the light. When he arrives, he sees a powerful vortex with a beautiful color. The elf quickly hides behind the tree when he sees something coming out of the vortex. He was shocked when he sees himself, but his face is full of wrinkles and white hairs with tattered clothes. 

     The elf was scared, so he immediately pushed his old figure into the vortex. The elf run away through the forest. He ran westward to his house. He kept running until he was exhausted. The elf realized that he was trapped in the northern forest and couldn't go home. The poor elf keeps trying to get out of the deadly forest for days, months and years. Until he grew old with tattered clothes. Until one day, the elf came across a vortex with an attractive colour. The elf trying to go into the vortex.

Thinking about it, Ae still doesn't know what that powder contains that brings them alive, he doesn't know if he should be grateful or disappointed that he’s alive. Every step feels heavy and lonely though Alvin doesn't mind this type of walk. Ae enjoys the snowy breeze and the sound of footprints while heading to his house, a gingerbread house inside a big tree. The first thing Alvin sees after arriving at their home is his sister. Well maybe his adopted sister, long story short after all gingerbread ran from the old couple house Ae met Cay who's now his sister.

“Already back from your afternoon walk? That’s surprising” Cay said, looking unbothered while playing weiqi that Cay made after spying on a lot of humans. She learned quite a lot of interesting games and some things called songs. “I can tell you didn’t sleep, I thought you said you were tired?” Ae knows Cay is a heavy sleeper she should be sleeping right now. “Mhm, yes but when i was about to go to sleep i came up with a new strategy so i have to try it before i forget about it” Cay said not giving Ae a single glance still focused with her weiqi board. This girl Ae thought and sighs shaking his head, since Ae has nothing to do Ae will waste his time on the balcony to stargaze then go to sleep this week Ae and Cay are going to be busy making fireworks. It's a tradition for them every season they make fireworks together.

“WAKE UP!” 

First thing in the morning Ae hears Cay’s screaming at him. Ae can’t help but put a pillow over his head. “Give me like 5 hours”.

“...”

Next thing Ae knew Cay dumped a small bucket to him of course that made him wide awake “YOU! NOW AM SOGGY” Cay smirk that face of her clearly show no sign of regrets

Ae sigh this was probably a revenge from last week Ae broke all Cay flowers almost an accident better start getting ready Ae sigh one more time. Before making the fireworks of course the first thing they need is materials. It takes 3 hours to get to the town. Once they arrive they split up. Ae is the one who sneaks to get the colors materials while Cay gets the explosion materials. They don't need many since they’re small so taking the materials and meeting back again only took almost an hour. The only problem is now going back home again. After 4 hours they finally see their home. By the time they arrive home it is already sunset and they go straight to their rooms not caring to clean the materials. Morning came, Ae and Cay started to make fireworks. They planned to make two since there’s still two leftover fireworks from last season. 

It didn’t take as long as they used to be five days later two fireworks were done. Both Ae and Cay are satisfied with their work tomorrow they’ll light up the fireworks and ironically tomorrow is christmas. “Finally it's done, should we light up in a different place or the same as last season?” said Ae while cleaning up 

“Different places, i saw a place that gave a nice view though if it didn’t we can just search a new place or the same place as last season” Cay replied helping Ae clean up “when you go out for a walk did you find any interesting places? Maybe somewhere that’s good for lighting up fireworks” Cay asked curiously, took a glance at Ae “well not really some place are qui-” before Ae can finish his sentence somehow a bird comes at them and steals four fireworks.

Both of them froze but when their senses come back they rush to get back their fireworks, their hard work. After thirty minutes, unfortunately the bird put the fireworks to her nest way way high. They have no choice but to climb up. Cay is an expert at things like this since she likes to spy a lot and takes something from humans or animals. As for Ae, well climbing up isn’t his forte but taking back things? Kinda. To their surprise and blessing the bird flew away! Probably searching for more food. They take their fireworks and climb down as fast as they can. After their feet touch the ground they rush to their house with their small legs. It's already midnight, thankfully the bird hasn’t noticed them so they’re back home safely. Taking a moment for themselves before heading to bed. 

Fresh air comes from the window, night time comes from the outside. They already set up the fireworks now it's ready for it to light up.

As Ae said the last word, both of them light up two fireworks together. A moment later the fireworks began to fly up into the sky. It was really beautiful despite the chaos they had to face yesterday. It was worth it in the end

Somewhere in a santa village live a nutcracker name Bambang. Bambang was an orphan who lived with his brother and sister-in-law. He was often abused by his sister-in-law. They eventually kicked him out of the house, and gave him nothing but an old gold fish. One day, the old gold fish suddenly spoke out, telling

Bambang that a fairy will come, and that she is the heavenly nutcracker. It said the fairy will stay here if she fails to go back to heaven before morning. In accordance with what the old gold fish, Bambang saw the beautiful fairy and fell in love with her, then they got married. The emperor of heaven found out about this and was furious, so he sent minions to escort the heavenly fairy back to heaven. Bambang was heartbroken and decided to chase after them. But it beyond his limit he cant go to heaven because he is a human. Bambang get depressed he lost his beloved wife. 10 years past and bambang still love the fairy he met, the mother of goddes see the love of bambang and then she drew a Silver ring in the sky and blocked his way. Meanwhile, the love between Bambang and the fairy moved the magpie, and they built a bridge of magpies over the Silver River for them to meet. The Emperor of Heaven was also moved by the sight, and allowed this couple to meet on the Magpie Bridge once a year on the first day of over the winter break. Bambang and the fairy are very happy that they can meet each other even though it's only one day in 1 year.

The day after Christmas, the North Pole was now silent, most of the work had been done. Everyone has now relaxed in Santas Village, it is where everybody live in North Pole. But that night, everyone was busy preparing something huge all over the village. Some were hanging lights, some were preparing food, and some were decorating. Turns out, it was Mr. Jingle’s birthday. He is a snowman who lived in Santas village. Mr. Jingle has always loved his birthday, to him it’s an exclusive day.

Mr Jingle’s birthday party should start at 8 PM, but it’s 9 already and it hasn’t started. Everyone was confused, why hasn’t it started. Turns out, Mr Jingle was missing. The whole village started to look for him. An hour has passed, but Mr. Jingle can’t seem to be found everywhere. Then Santa remembered a place where Mr. Jingle always went. Santa then went to the North Pole fountain. Santa know what was going on and give Mr. Jingle a warm hug. The North Pole fountain is the last memory Mr. Jingle remembers his twin brother. His brother went missing a year ago. Today they were supposed to celebrate their birthday together. After that, Santa and Mr. Jingle went back to the party. It hasn’t passed midnight yet, Mr. Jingle could still celebrate his birthday party. The village then feast until midnight.
