<title>A fun way to answer questions that students might have early in the school year is to have them write their &quot;burning question&quot; on a slip of paper, wad it up and throw it at the teacher. I then collect a few randomly and answer the questions. </title>

<title>We also did the &#39;Line Game&#39; (not sue what it&#39;s true name is...a milder version than what Erin Gruwell did in the film &quot;Freedom Writers&#39;. &amp;nbsp;Example: &quot;Stand on the line if you speak more than one language.&quot;...OR &quot;Stand on the line if you have done harm to someone.&quot; &amp;nbsp; They had a great time with this activity...seeing common expereinces and finding their uniqueness. &amp;nbsp; We followed up with a conversation about how if made them feel when there were lots or a few people on the line with them :)</title>
