Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls.

Rice paper rolls

I love Vietnamese rice paper rolls; they are a quick healthy snack with an appetizing peanut sauce. You could buy them anywhere in Melbourne either Vietnamese, Thai or Chinese shops might probably have a “fusion” or their own recipe for them. There is a store next door to work that has them, and they are absolutely amazing.

Although I enjoy eating rice paper rolls, preparing them is not my cup of tea!! You should have all the ingredients ready to go otherwise it might take you a long time to get them ready on your table. My rolls are not overly colourful, nor are they a work of art. But I can assure you they will deliver on taste. My recipe consists of pork, prawn, rice noodles and a lot of veg. I generally serve this dish with my own secret peanut sauce.

Brazilian Chicken Stroganoff

I love eating different dishes of all world, for example the Japanese Food is amazing, but in this moment, my favorite food is Brazilian Chicken stroganoff, I tried this food of god because I have Brazilian Friends, I could eat every day it. In Melbourne I haven’t eaten Stroganoff but there is a restaurant in the CBD 139 Collins Street where you can find Brazilian food, however I think that the best stroganoff is made in house.

This dish is easy to prepare you only need, chicken or meat, cream milk, tomate paste and species, generally I prefer with chicken, but you could prepare with meat. You should put species in the chicken or meat, but it is depending on the person. For the preparation you have to cook the chicken with a little of water, when the chicken is cooked you must add cream milk, tomate paste and blend all ingredients, after that you would have to wait for 5 minutes. Finally, you can eat it with rice.

Thanks

By Tinna

My favorite food is pad Thai which is sweet, sour and spicy stir fried noodles made with bean sprouts, tofu, peanuts, egg, chilli, thai garlic, tamarind, palm sugar and dried and fresh prawns or another meat. It can be prepared with beef, chicken or only vegetables but i like it with prawns the most.
It could be translated in English as 'thai noodles' and it is the national dish.

You can find it in Melbourne at any thai restaurant but it is not the same as in Thailand so I miss it a lot. It is okay here but it tastes different and is not as good as in Thailand. There you can eat it in restaurants but it is more popular as a street food. It is so delicious there that I don't cook it often, but when I do the way I make it is by frying the noodles in a wok with the other ingredients. The ingredients in the sauce are sugar, tamarind, and fish and oyster sauce. It is nice with lime or lemon and peanuts on the side and I like to eat mine with chilli powder. There are other recipes, but that is the one I like best.
