Not necessarily because I understood what it meant, but it sounded cool to say and was easy to remember because of its rhythm. I decided to take this opportunity to actually learn more about it. This human right has 3 main points:
1. Right to Life - Not exactly a clear definition, but many who have studied the declaration say that as part of this right, a state cannot increase the risk of death, whether by action or inaction.
2. Right to Liberty - This is also further broken down into 2 sections. It covers ones freedom from physical restraint (imprisonment, forced actions), and the freedom to make fundamental personal choices (family, marriage, career, etc).
3. Security of Person - applies to the physical and psychological security of all individuals. Largely in part to the extreme laws that govern their citizens. There are many human rights in violation within the country, but the one that we may hear the most about is the Freedom of Movement and Information. Moving between provinces is illegal without prior approval from the North Korean government, police continue to arrest those caught communicating with people outside of North Korea.
