Since my freshman year, I’ve identified with these values heavily based on my gradual come up. I suffered from speech impediment for years until my parents moved me to speech therapy in my town’s public school system. Throughout middle school, my social interactions were few. My priority was to put grades and school on pillars versus making friends. The introduction to influencer Gary Vaynerchuk and drama class allowed me to learn my authentic voice talking aloud. Gary played an instrumental role in learning why being as original as possible always instead of faking it 24/7, proving the most unauthentic version of myself to “friends.” Illustrating my high school experience and perception of conversations with people today. The remaining two values my teacher Mr. Jeronimo taught me to the highest level how to be Tyler on stage and off stage. How do I want to represent myself in class and on stage, character or non-character? At a time, I felt I was playing the unrealistic version of myself due to friends who I interpreted their behavior by copying and pasting. Realizing I did not want to actualize this lifestyle to ground myself back to reality, I had to go back to what was taught to me and how I could replicate it now. Similarly, comprehending the ability to listen more and talk decisively when needed.
