Culture is impacted by globalization primarily through the trade of culture components like food, music, fashion, and language. People from other nations exchange culture customs and practice through their interactions and communication. Both parties gain from this conversation since it enables them to understand and respect one another's traditions. New cultural forms and the revival of long-standing customs may result from this cross-cultural interaction. For instance, American audiences have been exposed to Korean culture through the success of k pop music, while Korean fans have learned more about American culture from the music. As a result of this interchange, interest in cultures of both nations has grown, and mutual respect for one another’s traditions and customs.

But in the past they had to walk the silk road to trade spice, goods, or silk, which could take days to do. But now many people just deliver their trades with websites and their ideas with emails. So that's why it’s happening so fast because of the internett. Another reason it is faster is because now we have air travel and cargo ships to deliver packages of goods.

The Bangladesh Clothing Factory "Meem" article, proves that globalization doesn't necessarily mean everything is equal for everyone. For people who have less rights because of where they live, globalization can be controversial. It could mean that they have decent jobs that support their families, which they might not have had access to before. However, it can also mean that their working conditions are inhumane and dangerous and their salary is low. It could even mean that they are illegally working overnight and overtime. It depends on the worker and the situation to decide whether globalization is beneficial or detrimental to people’s rights.

Some of the advantages of globalisation are that people from different areas can learn more about people from other places around the world and people from other places around the world can be more aware of global issues and wars and natural disasters. Incomes grow with globalisation and it raises wages too. things can have a lower price causing more people to be able to afford things.

I think that globalization is a bad thing because some countries are losing their unique cultures, and those cultures are changing into that of American culture. Another reason it is bad is because with all the items being manufactured, it is emitting more and more greenhouse gases. It makes life worse for the workers who are barely getting paid a single dollar and are being forced to work in hazardous conditions. It isn’t the same for everyone who purchases these items, without knowing what life is like for the worker(s) behind the product. Globalization may seem like it isn’t going in a good route today, but we can’t live without it because we still need to be able to transport items for most of the stuff we wear. Regardless, it still isn’t the best system.

My stance is that Globalization is bad, it causes people to be physically abused. Giving people scars and bruises just for a pair of shoes? Polluting the earth to the point that its almost too far to go back? Its a horrible thing to happen, hundreds of people die per year just from opperating the machinery. Which is honestly probably one of the safest jobs. From boats alone, many sea animals are injured. Manatees, whales, dolphins, all house scars and blood due to propellers from Globalization. And although it has its ups, such as new jobs and more cultures, its not a good thing. Children, our age, can't or don't go to school because of low wages are and the fact that most of them work to survive. Children die from diseases because of low pay and being overworked, they starve or get sick. It causes so much backfire, such as cultures and traditions being misused and misinterpreted, this causes disrespect on behalf of the people who have those traditions.

I believe globalization makes life better. Without globalization we wouldn’t be able to have most of the resources or ideas, knowledge and more that we use in our every day life. Although there are some negatives I believe more good comes out of it. Globalization has changed our world in many good ways such as the income has rose 24%, billions of people lifed out of poverty, more jobs are available, more productivity, higher wages, lower prices, easier to share knowledge on things, making more modern technology for future benefits, while modern technology has improved communication for health officials so it’s easier to develop vaccines, treatments, and other measurements to slow the spread of desieses, and more variety on things. These is multiply things globalization has done to make life better and much more easier. Though if is different for everyone in the world. Some places are in much more danger and have way less than we do. Although some countries we get our resources from are in poverty they could change their way of doing things. But if we want to be successful they not everyone can be. To make an equal balance in life not everyone can have the same things. Some people just have to suffer. I couldn’t live with out if because There wouldn’t be enough resources to share in our country. Nobody would get to know what is happening in our countries. So many things reflect on globalization and if we didn’t have it then the US would go in flames.

Evidence why globalization is positive towards everyone:

“Each year, millions of people move from one country to another in search of work. Sometimes, these migrant workers travel a short distance, like between Mexico and the United States.”

“Clothing styles have also become more uniform as a result of globalisation. National and regional costumes have become rarer as globalisation has increased. There has also been an exchange of foods across the globe.”

“American software companies, like Microsoft, Apple and Google, make a great deal of money from buyers around the world.”

All from The global network by national geographic

How Globlization Spreads the Infectious Desieses: by 5 minute Business

Now people can travel in air in a matter of hours time frame.

“On the one hand, improved communication can help health officals track the spread of desiesses”

“By sharing information and resources, countries can work together to develop vaccines, treatments, and other measurements to slow the spread of desieses.”

My stance on globalization is that it is mainly a bad thing. Children of poorer families often can’t attend school. Not having an education is something that will set children back from others who can afford to go to school. Large companies can take advantage of countries with people who are desperate for jobs. This means they find ways to pay their employees the minimum wage while giving them long hours (sometimes overnight) in dangerous conditions. American culture is so widespread, and it is the reason other cultures are being outshadowed. The influence of American food, restaurant chains, music, and clothing is slowly shoving over the culture of other countries.

I think that globalization is a bad thing because not only do they have many factories filled with women, children, or men. They have to spend their days away from their families, and the children don’t even get to go to school or play outside. The people work for many hours just to get a low wage. Many of the people die from heat stroke, starvation, or from the harsh chemicals. According to the from the article in the soup or salads assignment "My boss is a 9 year old" The article quote's “Meem is 9 years old and works as a sewing helper in a garment factory. For a few days this summer, she was also my boss.” It also caused many pollution problems because making t-shirts and shoes use many harsh chemicals to make the products, and sending the shoes away to America uses up a lot of energy because it goes on planes, cargo ships, or trucks. Another negative thing is that is ruining other cultures because many now many places have American movies and McDonald's.‘’McDonald's has become a symbol of globalization, with more than 31,000 restaurants in 118 countries. And people all across the world are eating more meat and sugary foods, like those sold in fast-food restaurants”.“They fear that everyone will end up eating hamburgers and watching Hollywood movies” People are afraid that every place is going to be filled with American culture and there today there are less languages. Even though we can’t really live without it we still can change Globalization in to a good thing.

Also globalization has made advanced medicine more available everywhere, and is spread more easily.

“Countries have also become more connected politically. Many problems facing the world today cross national borders. Countries must work together to solve them. For example, efforts to fight crime and deal with global climate change involve many different countries

Another thing is that it also made many people get jobs and go out of poverty.

“For example, it has made advanced medicines more easily and widely available.
