If it had not been for Nikolai Tesla in 1926 for mentioning that one day we will have a device in which we will be able to talk to people like we were face to face and we would carry it in our pocket, I don't believe smartphones would be like they are today. Before Tesla was created oil companies had supported petrol auto companies because of the revenue they create for the oil industry. Now Tesla has stepped into the auto industry it has upset oil companies hugely.
