         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Ottoman's adopted European's systems of law, dress, art and military.  Sultan Mahmud II enforced a dress code of a fez, frock coat and fitted trousers.  The army recruits artist so that they can learn to paint.  Some of them are landscape artist.  Sultans designed their houses with European items.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Suleyman didn't care really what they believed in.  He had Christianity, Jewish, Islamic, and Muslim.  He helped the Jewish and Christian the most.  He turned some christian kids into Muslim in the army.  The christian families wanted their children in the army.</div>]]></description>

Europe embarked on the Age of Discovery because Ottoman controlled major trade routes.  Eastern Europe was unified under the control of the Ottoman Empire.  </div>]]></description>
