It's the thing that is given to EVERYBODY. No matter how rich or unstable. There are many basic rights for human beings for example, Freedom of Speech, freedom for different genders, For example LGBTQ and Many other rights.
Still in the 21st century, there are Many cities/areas where multiple human rights aren't followed. But I am really happy for the other countries that ARE following it. For example, In Pakistan, The transgenders are not treated equally to Proper Girls and Boys so. There's a transwoman, she has gone through so much. And when i tell you 'MUCH,'  I literally mean much. She has gone through nights of her, starving and having no food around, she has gone through begging, she has gone through nights of sleeping on a footpath with horn noises by her side. SHE HAS GONE THROUGH TOO MUCH. She always wanted to study law, she tried and tried and Allah gave her that. Now she is a lawyer, she fights for the other transgenders who suffering in Pakistan. I want everyone to be like her and I want Pakistani's to be more empathetic to transgenders or other people who have not the same mindset for example the people in LGBTQ.
Anyways, Insha'Allah, Allah's going to make things better soon.

But that shouldn't be a reason for discrimination amongst people. We need to learn how to accept each others differences, whether it's in religion, identity or skills. Human rights are a few laws and regulations assigned as rights for each and everyone, be it young or old, rich or poor, etc. The reason for this act is to make sure everyone is treated equally. These specific rules have gone down from old age to this day and have changed through their forms. Some rights were made through philosophical discussions, some came from religious beliefs and some concepts appeared through simple and basic thinking. 
I think that human rights are not being followed and that is a sad reality of this world. The freedom of speech and expression and a right to live with total liberty and freedom has been taken away from many areas of this world due to wars and other political issues. Few places are:
Kashmir
Palestine
Syria
