Some factors that influence attraction consists of similarity, physical attractiveness, proximity, and reciprocity.
I think that similarity influences attraction tremendously because we often ten to choose a life partner simply because we like their values, name, or even music taste. Physical attractiveness plays a huge role in attraction because body ratio is what our brains find most attractive. Showed in the video, the Fusiform Gyrus recognizes symmetrical features as more attractive. Proximity is another contender of attraction because of the likeliness we have with people who share the same interests as us or who live near us. Lastly, reciprocity is yet another influence on attraction because of its proneness to be attracted to those who also like us back.
