2. Then food is transported by the esophagus to the stomach.
3. In the stomach food is mixed with digestive juices and become simpler form.
4. In the small intestine food is mixed with intestinal juices and absorbed as nutrients in to the blood stream.
5. The unabsorbed food is then moved to the large intestine to be eliminated as stool outside the body.
