There is so much going on in this action-packed story! A gang of children find themselves stuck in space after an ‘incident’ leaves all the adults on board in a state of ‘sleep’. 
Mystery, suspense, twists and turns, all make for a great science fiction read. Beth, one of the main characters, reminds me of Hermione! And the ship’s computer is a great character too with some brilliant put-downs. In fact, all the characters are well thought-out and believable. 
If you’re looking for a fun, space-filled adventure, this is for you.

I loved The House with Chicken Legs and The Girl who Speaks Bear so I knew I’d enjoy reading Sophie Anderson’s latest book. I wasn’t disappointed! 
Olia has always lived in Castle Mila, a gorgeous old castle that holds so many secrets. But when a storm rocks the castle, Olia discovers a magical new world that’s in danger. 
I loved the detail in the story and beautiful descriptions. And Olia is such a strong character - very real, cheeky, curious, always trying to be the best person she can be.

He goes to the merchants everyday to sell wool so he can make a living. He lives in the region of Andalusia. A little boy called Budi has a dream to be a professional footballer. It was a simple 
plan,but it would be pretty much impossible to do. The story is based in Jakarta, The Philippines where Budi works in a gloomy, sweat- drenched sewing factory. His grandma is ill so he has to go through blood and pain everyday to provide her with the medicine she needs.
However, one bad kick crashes Budi’s world as he know is in debt to the dragon the most dangerous man in Jakarta.After that it was no longer Budi’s dreams at stake but it was his life.

I love Ross Welford’s books. Funny mystery/adventure/Sci Fi stories with great characters. The story begins with the mysterious disappearance of Tammy, Ethan’s twin sister. Told from the viewpoints of Ethan and the alien, this will make you laugh and make you think - about what makes us human and about the ethics of zoos.
