I chose Public Relations and Event Management, albeit plan on pursuing a career in journalism because I felt that I could really use the experiences. Considering I’m more of a work-based person, and prefer learning through experiences, I feel that this particular course allows for me to not only put my skills to good use but hone and perfect them.
 
I’ve great ardour for writing, particularly in regard to philosophy and critical thinking. I’m enthralled by the mind and its capabilities, and people especially—why do we do the things we do? Why do we think the way we do? Why are we the way we are? It’s interesting to me to not just find these things out, but to articulate it so perfectly in writing that it gets other people to think as well. I even have a Facebook page dedicated to this;

I’m quite versatile in my capabilities, although sometimes afraid to try new things, I’m willing to take risks, to adapt, but more importantly to learn. I’m quite assertive in the sense where I’ll speak my mind and tell it like it is; although it’s still a work in progress, I’ve learned to control it better—perfectly imperfect, you could say.


Now here are some random facts about me:-

  1. I can sing (pretty well, I’d say) (I will carry my own basket because it’s too heavy for anyone else to carry)
  2. I tend to stress-bake. 
  3. I’m a coconut or OreoTM 
  4. I have a dirty mind.
