We spend a lot of time there and we are going to paint the walls, redo the flooring, remove the couch, and add more comfortable seating. We are also going to put blinds on the windows, and get some lighting in it for the night time. My reasoning for this is we are in there so often and the general vibe is a little off, it’s pretty drab and just bums you out when you walk in. I want to give it a brighter feel and a less muggy vibe. My inspiration is seeing shows on tv about remodeling rooms and I was sitting with her and we decided to come up with some ideas. We could finish the whole project for less than $250. Her and I were both shocked when we found out that the things we need and want are not as expensive as we thought. There are bean bag chairs for less than $20, Paint cans for less than $20, blinds for about $15, a new doorknob/lock would be anywhere from $15-$30 depending on the quality and type, and little battery powered light fixtures for about $10 each, and it is a small space so there wouldn’t need to be any more than 2 lights. Also, we need to do flooring. We don’t know the price of a square foot of the type of floors we need, but we still need to measure the floor. But our total so far without including floors is about $150, leaving a little under $100 for floors. We have one beanbag chair in there and quite a few blankets. We also bought a lamp, a switch light, and 7 candles. Anything and everything we write on the walls will be written in crayon. We taped crayons on the wall and made them melt to make colorful, unique patterns. We'll have colorful blankets and throw pillows, too.

So, I'm going to find a new personal project idea. Since I can't go to her house, I can't work on my current project. However, I did get a job this week. I had my interview Tuesday, and my orientation is next week. I have 3 kittens living outside my house, and I'm saving money to get them fixed so I can bring them inside. One of the cats only has three legs and I feel the need to rescue it, but it wouldn't be fair to only take one. We made good progress with that, over the course of a week we took out the couch, cleaned the whole playhouse, and repainted the walls. However, Mya and I got in a huge argument, and my parents won’t let me go to her house anymore because of the lies and rumors she was making up about me. We are no longer friends. So because of our argument and decision to not be friends, I have to come up with a new idea. The idea of having to completely start over overwhelms me, but I will keep moving forward. 
My new idea is to write a short book of poems. I’ve always been interested in writing. I feel that this is a good opportunity to express myself through writing. I’ll write all kinds of poems, from fictional fantasy pieces to pieces describing my life story. Some will be vague, some will be direct, and some won’t even take place in the real world. I am very excited to see what my mind can come up with if I let it wander. This book will be a good way to express my emotions towards myself, others, and the world as a whole. 
If we were to do a mid-year presentation, I wouldn’t have much to present, but I do have a few poems that I already have written. I would read some poems aloud, and talk about what they mean to me.
