Come and see the manager of the place.
Doing the interview and introduction session.
The manager briefing about my job as a front office members at the reservation sales team.
Manager brought me to visit the place, know about the whole places.
Learned about the Kabin, when it was started.
Observed, know what the restrict port.

- Other task, meet all the staffs, know each others because the total of them are not
So many just about 9 staffs.
- Doing some helping things as a starter move before start my second day.
- I am just doing the site visit to know the place.

Start my first job, cleaning the savannah lounge. Then do the housekeeping task, learning how to clean up the rooms such as : do the bed, clean the toilet, ironing the pillowcases. After that, help in organizing the raw materials, foods at the kitchen. In the afternoon, help to tidy up the chairs after done all the buffet lunch.

Setting up the breakfast buffet such as : plates, spoons and forks, others things.
Serving up and prepare the buffet stuffs for grouping lunch around 66 paxs.
Came in to the kitchen, help them preparing for the lunch. Settle up the foods, raw materials : wrapping the fishs for bbq and so on.
Doing the housekeeping for the few rooms. After that, break time then clean up the spaces for lunch.

Clean up the kitchen after the war yesterday because settle up the buffet for the grouping lunch. Wash up the plates, trays, water filling and the other things.
Do the laundry, here at the Kabin they only do the laundry for the pillowcases. I am doing that and do the dryer for them. Then ironing the pillowcases about 18 pieces. Folded the towels. As usual, do the housekeeping work, do the load dirty stuffs : remove the duvet covers, bed sheets, collects the dirty towel and so on.
Then, settle up the rooms for the next coming guests. After all, staying at the front office/receptionist to learn more.

In the morning, I am heating up the engine of the ATV for a few minutes.
As usual, clean up the kitchen, washing up the pan and so on.
Do the laundry and drying the pillowcases. Then, ironing the pillowcases.
My routine, doing the housekeeping : put on the sheets, cleaning the toilet.
At the evening, take over to the Front Office and learn how to answer called from the guests or customers.

Usually during on 12pm until 3pm is our housekeeping time. So that, customers will check in at 3pm. As usual, im doing the housekeeping job at this time. After that, i had helped at the kitchen due to we got the requested catering by the big group that wanted do the retreat/company trip at TheKabin. I had done the setting up buffet dinner pit such as plates, glasess, fork and spoons etc..
at the evening, helped in the making of bbq dinner, which is I will look around the buffet that the foods needed to be add.
At this time, i got lucky because im helping the guests that wanted do the surprising to their co- worker because of her birthday.
After they done the dinner, we will collect all the plates that being used to clean up and tidy up the lodge as per their dinner site.

at this morning, it is quite busy because we needed to setting up tables and all the pits of buffet for the breakfast.
Usually the breakfast will start if the guests request the times by their own planning : usually started at 7.30, 8 am or 9am.
in that morning, i will ensure that all the foods and drinks ready on the time.
After the breakfast is done, as usual will collect all the plates, glasses and so on also clean up the site.
At 12pm, will do the hosuekeeping job as usual.

during weekdays, the occupancy of rooms are not high than weekends. so we got many free time and will rest well after faced the busy times during weekend. at here, number of the staffs just remain about 10-11 workers only that doing the successful of the operation. so it is why we have to know each operation even it is not our job. We have to be a multitasking staff so that we can help and cover for each others.
As per weekdays, we just preparing for doing the rooms (housekeeping) and standby if there has a walk in reservation/booking.
at the evening, i will took over the shift at the front office.

1)Savannah Lounge need to polish. (reception area).
2)Clean up Kitchen,Linen store and banquet store.
3) Clean up public toilet.
4)Clear up rubbish at pump. house area and clean up pump house.
5)Clean up games room and karaoke room.

At the morning were quite busy due to especially at the cafe because of we got received arrival from the yesterday.
I am helping the cafe's staff in that morning.
My job when i am at the cafe was make the drinks, taking orders, served the customers and etc..
Cafe's operation will stop for the breakfast maximum at 11.30 am. After that, we are preparing for the lunch which is started at 2 pm. Our menu is more to the western food : pasta & spaghetti, chicken chop, waffles, burgers.
As usual, we will do the housekeeping at 12/12.30pm after all the guests check out at the day.
