I got lot of new information about the importance of tourism geography in the 2nd week from our lecture such as key elements of tourism geography and type of tourism.

-learn abaout Babylonian Map of the world & Hetacaeus Map

-lecture tells us about definition & historical development of tourism (tourism is temporary movement of people)

-I learn about earlier travel that to seek food or to escape danger

-about the first transport that people use to travel

-learn about history of the Hajj Travel (pelancongan ibadah)

- tourism is a social, cultural & economic phenomenon which entails the movement of people

-Tourist Generating Region (TGR): This is the origin of the tourists, where the journey begins and where the push factors (reasons to leave) originate.

-Transit Route Region (TRR): This is the area through which tourists travel to reach their destination. It is the connection between the TGR and TDR.

-Tourist Destination Region (TDR): This is the final destination, where the pull factors (attractions drawing tourists in) are located and the main tourism activity occurs

2.     Compare the geographical roles of the Tourist Generating Region (TGR) and the Tourist                        Destination Region (TDR), specifically focusing on how push factors operate in the TGR and pull factors operate in the TDR

-The TGR's role is to 'push' tourists out via internal motivations, while the TDR's role is to 'pull' them in via external attractions.
