         <description><![CDATA[<p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Explain why Leiper’s Tourism System Model (1979) necessitates three (3) distinct geographical elements.</p><p>-Tourist Generating Region (TGR): This is the origin of the tourists, where the journey begins and where the push factors (reasons to leave) originate.</p><p>-Transit Route Region (TRR): This is the area through which tourists travel to reach their destination. It is the connection between the TGR and TDR.</p><p>-Tourist Destination Region (TDR): This is the final destination, where the pull factors (attractions drawing tourists in) are located and the main tourism activity occurs</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Compare the geographical roles of the Tourist Generating Region (TGR) and the Tourist &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Destination Region (TDR), specifically focusing on how push factors operate in the TGR and pull factors operate in the TDR</p><p>-The TGR's role is to 'push' tourists out via internal motivations, while the TDR's role is to 'pull' them in via external attractions.</p>]]></description>
