We want to show our audience a vision of how trash has altered the natural marine environment. To make our campaign unique, we want to create a VR setup where users can wear the headset and see through from the eyes of a marine animal (e.g. a whale, a turtle) of the trashy ocean. We can have this campaign in science convention, university campus, and other places where people can have the experience and better learn the negative impacts of trash in the water and the urgency of resolving the problem, therefore inspire them to take action to protect it.

Our Idea: create a small, physical timer that will keep the time of how long it takes for an individual to wash their dishes by hand. The goal of this product creation is to put into perspective how much water is wasted when people hand wash dishes after every use, in contrast to the amount of water and energy used when a dishwasher runs a full cycle after several meals. This product’s promotion strategy will include messaging that explains why using dishwashers are generally more green and sustainable than handwashing dishes. The timer will also come with a sticker or magnet that consumers can put on their dishwashers that says “you have saved X amount of water today!”, etc.

People can look for nearby water refill stations, such as drinking fountains or cafes that offer free refills, and allows them to track their own water consumption and environmental impact. In this way, we can raise people's awareness of water and environmental problems. The exhibit includes a garden with different types of plants, some of which are thriving with proper water usage, while others are dying due to lack of water. There are informational signage and interactive displays that educate visitors about the importance of water conservation and how it impacts plant and animal life. The exhibit could be held in a public space such as a park or plaza, and a social media campaign could be created to encourage people to visit the exhibit and share their own water conservation tips using a specific hashtag.

"Waterless Garden" challenge: This is a challenge that encourages people to create beautiful and sustainable gardens without using any water. The challenge involves partnering with local gardening organizations and experts to provide resources and tips on how to design and maintain waterless gardens. Participants are asked to share pictures of their waterless gardens on social media using a specific hashtag, and for every post shared, a donation is made to a water conservation organization. Workshops and events are also hosted to provide hands-on education on how to create waterless gardens.

Our idea is to make a mini-documentary of an average individual's water use throughout the day, from the time he wakes up in the morning until he goes to sleep at night.

Main storyline is to record the scenarios and total amount of water used by the individual. There will be a final data visualization comparing the amount of water used by this person in a non-water-scarce area with the amount of water available to a household or individual in a water-scarce area. We hope this film can raise awareness of water use and conservation. At the end of the film, it is possible to discuss ways in which people can improve water use or conserve water in their daily lives. We also consider to include an interview with the main character, asking him or her to talk about their thoughts and feelings after watching their day of water use.

As for the video perspective of this film, a documentary film showing the details of ordinary people's lives, complemented by visual data will be a great practice.

Our art exposition tells the story of the devastating impact of plastic pollution on our oceans and marine life. We do this by creating a contrast between a common, everyday object - a plastic bag from convenience stores - and the beauty of nature represented by a picture of a whale jumping in an open ocean. By framing the plastic bag as a high-end or exclusive item, we draw attention to the irony of how something so disposable can have such a lasting impact on the environment. Our goal is to raise awareness about this urgent issue and encourage viewers to take action to reduce their use of single-use plastics. Come see our powerful and thought-provoking exhibition and join us in the fight against plastic pollution.

Our first idea is Art for H2O:
We will collaborate with local artists to create public art installations, like "the sewage produced in one second," and put another as a contrast, like "A Person's lifetime water consumption."These visually striking pieces will serve as conversation starters, raising awareness about water issues and inspiring people to take action.

Second is Ripple Stories: A group of prominent people from various industries will share their experiences with water, highlighting its importance in their lives, their cultural heritage, and how it has shaped their community. For example, an iPhone worker would share how much water will be wasted during the production of an iPhone, which is surprising for people since they would not expect water to be destroyed through iPhone production. We will gather these stories through interviews, social media submissions, and community events. These stories will be compiled into videos, podcasts, and written narratives, which we will share on our campaign website and social media platforms.

Thirdly, H2O Ambassadors: We will create a group of influential figures from various fields, such as celebrities, athletes, and community leaders, who will serve as H2O Ambassadors. These individuals will incorporate water conservation into their products, use their platforms to advocate for water conservation, share their own water stories, and inspire their followers to join the Ripple Effect movement.

Our group's focus is on raising awareness about plastic bottle pollution and reducing the use of bottled water. We have come up with an idea to use an experiential marketing strategy to achieve our goal.

We plan to set up a pop-up shop on the street and offer free food to people passing by. However, inside each food item, we will include a piece of plastic with an educational sentence. This will help raise awareness about reducing plastic use in a creative and interactive way.

Our second idea is to Create public art installations showing the effects that many marine animals are hurt by the plastic water bottled. These installations can be placed in public spaces and can serve as a visual reminder of the need to protect our water resources. We want this installation to draw attention to the importance of water conservation and protection.

Thirdly, we plan to partner with social media influencers who are passionate about environmental issues to promote the cause. We collaborate with influencers to create engaging content and use their platforms to spread awareness about water protection.

Based in rainy Seattle, the installation collects rainwater and creates a funnel-shaped installation with rocks, wood, everyday human objects, etc., underneath, with the aim of warning people about the importance of environmental pollution and water conservation by watching the results of corrosion after water drops. This is also a work that can be simultaneously placed as a large installation in a government building or museum or art gallery in the city center, or as a daily science practice class assignment for elementary and middle school students to observe the level of pollution by collecting rainwater, etc.

I would like to create a website of map where you can pinpoint all the water areas around the world, and they will be categorized by color based on their size, type, etc. As people click on different water areas, they'll see the picture, history, and evolution of the water areas, and how they're impacted by human activities. For example, you can use an animation to show how a ancient lake shrinks during the years due to people cutting the trees. Therefore, people will be more aware of how they affect the water and the nature, and be more willing to protect water.

I believe that the "invisible water" movement has the potential to raise awareness about the critical importance of our water resources and to inspire action to protect them. The central idea behind this movement is to replace the abundance of water in our daily lives with alternative materials, such as sand, when performing routine tasks like washing our hands, dishes, cars, or cleaning windows. This experiential activity is aimed at helping people recognize the preciousness of water and how easily we take it for granted.

The idea for this campaign originated from a childhood memory of mine when I watched a film about farmers living in remote areas of western China who had no access to water and had to wash their hands with sand. This experience had a profound impact on me and taught me the importance of valuing our water resources.
