I have worked with you for ten years and I don’t think I’ve ever heard you raise your voice or get annoyed at being constantly interrupted (mostly by me with mathematical questions). Your aptitude for finance and figures is remarkable, as is your ability to manage complex events. One of my most treasured memories is watching you and Freny retreat into the Awards function Seating enclave (a task no-one else could be trusted with), and emerge hours later, all being right with the world again. I also loved being in the kitchen with you at Expos (mostly because you let me sample all of the biscuits), feeding 800 students in 5 minutes, another task you managed with absolute precision. No doubt we will struggle in your absence but I wish you the happiest of retirements. Time to slow down, enjoy your beautiful family and start enacting those travel plans! Please keep in touch xo
