Faces that were once filled with hope for democracy now filled with fear for what should be our right to life. I see blood and chaos that wasn't our fault. Something happened I see a young man come out of the crowd. What is this young man going to do? He is walking in front of a tank?! I need to help him. I'm going to walk out there. I pull him away. We need Democracy! I look everyone is out there. Including myself a middle class woman. I was done with all of the violence and I saw these 4 tanks real far away coming this way. I was thinking about maybe giving my life away to prove a point or make the tanks stop. I was scared but I felt like I had to do it. The only thing on my way was my family. As the tanks got closer I got scared. Then my thoughts took me over and I started running through the crowd. I got through the crowd and was still running. Then as I was in front they stopped. When they stopped they turned off their mortars. I got up there and was banging on top of it. Told them to get out of my town. I knew that there was a protest going on outside of my hotel but i didn't know that it would change my life. At first it was just like the regular protest but then the military tanks showed up, i was sitting on my hotel balcony when i saw it, the man he ran in front of the tank, as the tank started approaching him getting closer and closer And right as i thought he was done he started to jump in front of the tanks and then he jumped on the tank and he started banging on the window and saying something. Then he jumped off and the tank started to move again then he jumped in front of it and i snapped the picture. I knew that i would get in trouble for having these photos so i put the film in the top of the toilet.
