Biotic- All of the living things in the enviornment.

Organism- A singular, living, thing.

Population- The assemblage of a specific type of organism in an area

Community- The assemblage of many populations occupying an area.

Ecosystem- A system formed by the interaction of a community of organisms with their environment.

Biome- Contiguous areas with similar climatic conditions on the Earth, such as communities of plants, animals, and soil organisms.

Biosphere- The global sum of all ecosystems.

Producer- An organism that produces its own food.

Consumer- An organism that eats other organisms for it's food.

Carnivore- An organism that only eats meat.

Herbivore- An organism that only eats plants.

Omnivore- An organism that eats both plants and animals.
