She then moved to Italy, where she immediately fell in love with soccer, but was too young to start playing like her brothers and sisters. After a while they had to move again and now to Texas where she was old enough and started playing football, basketball, and soccer, at age 6.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Mia went to Notre Dame high school, where John Cassaboon asked her to join the Olympic development training when she was just 13 years old. The when her family moved to Virginia she went to Lake Braddock High School. Then when in her senior year she was offered a scholarship to UNC (university of North Carolina) and she took it.</div>]]></description>

She also played on the North Carolina Tar Heels soccer team at her college. She played on the US national team for 17 years and carried them to many victories, and is known all around the world.</div>]]></description>

She also faced a challenge, when she had to quit school to be able to stay on the US National Team, during the first Women's World Cup </div>]]></description>

Her UNC team one 6 straight NCAA titles. She also won the Female Athlete of the year from the US. Soccer Association.</div>]]></description>
